can be a multi-step process in which tissue grafts are used to
reform a breast, combined with tissue expanders, and finally the
placement of implants. During the process, the areola is
reconstructed, helping to restore a women's aesthetic
appearance. Sometime a women chooses to also have cosmetic
tattooing of the areola with flesh colored pigments, helping
to provide a balance between both breasts.
